PUBLIC SPEAKING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS COURSE

We offer both private and group courses

Whether it is being asked to deliver a speech, a virtual presentation or going for a job interview, the fear of presenting is palpable, pervasive and often problematic.

This class focuses on the communication of information or ideas to a group or audience in such a way as to maintain their interest. Speaking to a group, in the context of a job interview, a presentation on a topic or issue, a sales pitch, or a formal speech or debate is increasingly common in school, college and work in present times and both in the presence of an audience or an online audience.

Good Public Speaking can enhance your reputation, boost you self-confidence and open up new opportunities.

This public speaking course covers the following techniques:

  • Conquer your fears
  • Breathing
  • Projection
  • Articulation
  • Delivery skills – Engaging an audience
  • Body Language
  • Use of props

Course Participant can opt for 2 virtual sessions & 2 face to face sessions as part of the course if required.

MENTORING – London College of Music (University of West London) Drama & Communications Diplomas

This course focuses on a student reaching their highest achievements with The London College of Music (University of West London) Diploma levels in Acting, Speech & Drama, Verse Speaking, Personal & Professional Communications and Teaching Diplomas.

Studying for a diploma or teaching diploma can be a lonely, overwhelming and uncertain experience to battle through on your own.

Susan talks about her experience;

“When I first explored working towards a teaching diploma, I had no real idea where to begin. I was clueless as to how I should prepare and unsure what was expected of me. The syllabus goes so far, but working towards a teaching diploma is a living, breathing thing.

I really wanted to gain a recognised teaching qualification but had no one to share the journey with. Luckily, I did find a wonderful teacher/mentor who guided me through each of the LCM Diplomas to reach the highest achilleate in LCM which was my Fellowship.”

So if you want to reach your goal of an LCM Diploma Qualification, we can mentor you to reach those goals.

This course is tailored to meet the learner’s exact needs. A minimum of 6-8 months preparation time should be considered for a Diploma. Course fee is €50 per 1hr 15mins weekly session. Mentoring Sessions are delivered either face to face or virtually.
